of people demanding that president mohammed morsi step down. there have been large public funerals for some of the protestors who have been killed. morsy is saying he's willing to talk to protestors - but he hasn't revoked his edict giving himself extensive powers. at least six people died when pro-government supporters clashed with those camped outside the palace. a lawyer for security software pioneer john mcafee says his client is doing better after suffering chest pain. mcafee is in guatamala - where his request for political asylum has been rejected. his lawyer says he suffered convulsions and was rushed to the hospital after his request was denied. he was taken into custody for allegedly entering the country illegally. mcafee doesn't want to return to belize - where he's wanted for questioning in the shooting death of a neighbor. >> the situation in syria may be reaching the boiling point. u-s officials are warning president bashar al-assad against using weapons of mass destruction. ed payne has the story.
